Granada is undoubtedly one of the privileged places where you can enjoy the sea, the plain and the mountains. From the beaches of the Granada coast to the peaks of the Sierra Nevada, from the mild climate of the coast to the cold climate of the peaks of the mountains, the Sierra Nevada is a mountain range. It is located mainly in the province of Granada in the region of Andalusia . In 1986 it was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and in 1999 a large part of its territory was declared a National Park for its botanical , landscape and natural values.

At its foothills is the southernmost ski resort in Europe and the highest in Spain.
